I am different from other Remedial Massage Therapists. The sessions are targeted at specific problems. Remedial massage works on the whole body- what I do is focus on a particular area, such as the shoulders, knees, ankles etc I focus on chronic problems, primarily structural re-training muscle lengthening and tension, using specific muscle manipulation techniques. I also do trigger point therapy. This helps reduce inflammation and adhesions to allow for more pain-free movement. I strip down old scar tissue/adhesions which in turn will make exercise, movement or getting chiropractic adjustments easier and will facilitate long-term changes. The end result is more mobility, less pain and stronger muscle function. This specialized method is not only different but focuses on releasing the body joint, muscle & other structures assisting in the protection and freedom of the spine.
