Gumnut Grove Child Care Centre has operated since 4th November 1985 as a long day care centre catering for children 6 weeks to school age. We aim to provide educational and stimulating programs for every child in every age group. We have 2 large indoor play areas as well as 2 large and exciting outdoor play areas for your children to play and grow. Both rooms have staff qualified with Diplomas in Children's Services and the Butterfly Room also has an Early Childhood Teacher employed to run the Preschool program giving your child the best head start to school possible. Our cook who has completed specialist courses in food and nutrition for young children, provides meals daily including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, all made from fresh produce bought locally. Message from the Director My name is Meghan Pratt and I am a qualified Director with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of 2 children and have been working in the child care industry for 20 years, and as such bring to Gumnut Grove a great range of knowledge and skills in caring for and educating young children.
