Welcome To Our Website The property was purchased in November 2012 by your hosts, Adrian and Paula Kinsey. Renovations began immediately and the property was born again with a brand new name, The Olive Branch York WA and was officially re-opened on the 8 March 2013. The Olive Branch is set on 5 acres and nestled on the side of the hill at the entrance to and overlooking Western Australia’s first inland town, Historic York. Only 900 metres from the main street of York, The Olive Branch has a rural feel with 250 Olive trees and an assortment of fruit trees, gardens and gravel pathways to take in the views and appreciate the Olive grove and surrounds. In addition to our ‘Studio Spa Suite’ accommodation, there is an onsite cafe for your convenience where you can relax and unwind in air-conditioned comfort or alfresco enjoying the peaceful tranquillity of the views over our olive grove and the Avon Valley framed by Mount Brown and the iconic Mount Bakewell in all their varied colours through the changing seasons, from misty winter mornings to warm summer breezes and magnificent sunsets. We also invite and welcome our friends in Ministry to enjoy our Christian Retreat Centre, to join us in corporate prayer at 8am every Wednesday and to browse and enjoy our bookshop with numerous resources available for loan and purchase.

Built in 1853, the hotel is around one hour by road from central Perth. It offers a choice of modern, air-conditioned motel style accommodation and traditionally styled hotel rooms. The Castle Hotel has retained its heritage character, and its external appearance is little changed since its establishment.
