John’s Pampered Pooch is owned & operated by Naismith Family and is located on five beautiful acres, over looking the Yarrambat Park golf course. Our aim was to provide you, our customer with affordable dog and cat boarding & first class accommodation in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs. I purchased the dog boarding kennels in 1994 & they were not in operation at that time. They have since then under gone major work’s to bring the entire complex up to a high standard that you would come to expect in today’s environment. We rebuilt a This all comes as standard, with having all rooms separated by a brick wall, providing your dog with individual comfort & safety needs, each room have their own access door to their exercise yard. We also cater for large breeds with our extra large kennels. We have a large roof collection area, so we use 100% rain water, also the wash down water is reused for watering the Dog Run’s. We also have a 5 KW Solar Power system, keeping us as self sufficient as we can. Our Cattery has also undergone a total refurbishment, with heating and cooling offering I also offer Palliative care for sick or Injured, geriatric & insulin dependent Pet’s or medication of any Pet’s. I got into this Business for the love of Animals. There is always some one on site so we offer 24 seven around the clock care of all our pets. We believe we are second to none and aim to provide you with full piece of mind that we will look after your precious pet, as if it was one of our own.
