Carey School of Dance is a highly regarded dance school recognised for its commitment, dedication and pursuit of excellence. The school is devoted to fostering and extending students’ abilities whilst nurturing a love of dance across all genres, ages and abilities. Carey School of Dance offers dance classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop, as well as preschool classes, all of which are based on a fusion of technique and artistry. The school was originally established by dancer and dance educator, Kerrelyn Carey, in 1969, and it took up residence in Winston Hills in 1976. The current directors, Susie, Katherine and Sharon, took ownership in 2011 and have continued to grow the school over the past number of years. Each of the studio’s current directors are qualified educators who have been teaching and studying dance for many years. The school caters for students of all abilities and provides quality training for all students, from those who attend for social enjoyment and fitness through to those who wish to pursue a professional career in the arts. The school is also dedicated to supporting professional development of our teachers.
