South West Sport (formerly Glenelg & South West Sports Assembly) was founded in 1985 and is a not-for-profit incorporated association, with a membership primarily consisting of sporting and recreational organisations. South West Sport is governed by a Committee of Management made up of representatives nominated by member organisations from all 5 sub-regions of the South West of Victoria. The Committee of Management employs an Executive Officer, who oversees all other paid staff including Program Managers and Project Officers.
