The Tenterfield Centenary Cottage Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into early settler life with beautifully presented displays, a collection of memorabilia from the past, and a knowledgeable staff. The museum is housed in a beautifully preserved 1871 building and features items related to Tenterfield's history, including original furniture and clothing. Visitors can touch the displays and learn about significant figures such as Sir Henry Parkes, the founder of Federation in Australia. General admission is $5 for adults, and the museum is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
