These bouquets are a unique design by Sugar Surprise and I have not seen anywhere else in Australia that makes these kinds of bouquets. We never use tissue paper when creating any of our bouquets, instead, we use a luxurious silky touch fabric paper that does not scrunch or crumple as tissue paper would. When assembling a bouquet, no chocolate is harmed in any way (meaning I do not pierce the wrappers or attach any skewers directly to the chocolates) all chocolates remain fully sealed to ensure they stay fresh. I start with good quality chocolate and either carefully attach each chocolate to a wooden skewer with a small dab of hot glue (for Ferrero Rocher) or attach it to a wooden skewer with florist tape (for Lindt chocolates), I never use tape on one of my bouquets as I think it looks tacky. Unlike traditional flower bouquets, they simply don’t fade away. I mean they might disappear over time, but they can last if you want them to… Our typical bouquets come with 45 chocolates on them which should be enough to keep you going long after traditional flowers have been consigned to the compost heap. You can gift a chocolate bouquet on almost any occasion – not all occasions admittedly, but birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s & Father’s days, and even Valentine’s day are just some of the times that you can leave someone feeling cherished and special.
