Melissa and Wanita truly embody the essence of their Maleny boutique, Piece of Me, which combines an eclectic ‘hippy chic’ style with an appreciation for quality pieces that outlast trends.” Both yoga practitioners, we opened the store in 2005 so as to offer beautiful yoga wear and have expanded our range to include a lovely selection of iconic Australian lifestyle labels such as Metalicus, Mesop and Wyse. Featuring natural fibres such as merino wool, cotton, and organic beach timber fibre, these labels are perfect for work, travel, maternity and leisure wear. We believe fashion should be above all comfortable, extremely versatile, grow with us during life’s changes, feature natural fibres, and be manufactured ethically. Our other labels such as Pura Vida, Otomo and Uttam London, give depth to our fashion range. These labels feature beautiful silks, bamboo blends, exquisite embroidery and beading with international styling. The shop is our own little art space in terms of being colourful and eclectic — it’s like our own Aladdin’s Cave, full of treasures. We only share with people what we love, and we’re quite selective in our choice. There is always something new to be found in store, beautiful gifts, homewares, fashion accessories and an extensive semi precious range of jewellery made exclusively for Piece of Me by local artisan ‘Astrids’.
