Review about Sing Smart Studios, Kirwan

I cannot reccomend this studio. A woman student who they know has support and care needs was given zero support when it was recently required and asked for. Instead of having a conversation with student when it was needed, the owners blocked her from all avenues of communication, whilst she was still a student. making it impossible for her to continue lessons after years as a student of their 2 businesses. As the students carer and parent, I was shocked at these owners we had completely trusted for years being so unprofessional to not even be willing to listen to a student.

This reviewer’s comments are false and misleading. Upon review of the matter, it was found that no adjustment was needed to our working operations, as was aggressively demanded by this customer. We did offer the opportunity for ongoing singing lessons; however, this was declined as we would not meet their demands. We have since been advised by our lawyer to cease engaging with this family due to the nature of the texts, emails and voice mails subsequently sent to us. We believe we are being unfairly targeted on this review site. Sing Smart Studios - Manager

In reply To Natalie at Sing Smart Studios The fact is you had no conversation ever with your student to discuss her experience or her needs. You had a conversation with me when I was rushed and unwell which was distressing as 1st thing you said was that you told Damien not to answer when we asked only for same as what you did with other teacher. It was and is extremely distressing to have my daughter with extra support needs not be supported by a business we completely trusted to do the right thing. Fact is it is your responsibility as a business to have a process to handle complaints yet you did not even allow her to tell you what happened instead blocked her and made it impossible for her to continue singing. You say you reviewed the matter which is impossible because you did not speak to her or let her share any of her experience so you could not possibly make any informed decision without any knowledge or conversation with her. She was there as an ndis funded student and you know extreme anxiety is one of her disabilities and to say she could continue when you shut her down in less than 24 hours without talking at all or even learning what she had been through and denying her support she needed is a failure of your business to listen to and address a students issues a very vulnerable student bravely sought support with. It should be no shock how upsetting your behaviour was when teacher she trusted is victim blaming after denying support needed. There is nothing misleading I am saying. I am sharing the truth of our actual experience which is that you did not even allow her to talk to you but blocked her instead and now somehow you think it's ok to blame her for your lack of appropriate response.
