Never ever EVER AGAIN. Where do I start? 1. Over charged for rooms that had spider webs everywhere, cold and outdated decor. 2. Pamela got really annoyed, and voiced this, because I dared ask if my bedroom door had a lock on it. 3. Pamela demanded to know who was on the restroom, knocking on the door and shouting through it, when I'm in the middle is using it. 4. Pamela demanded to know when we were leaving...we had just virtually arrived! 5. Pamela was annoyed because we asked to use three plates, cutlery and glasses for our simple salad meal. 6. We weren't allowed to have food or beverages, of any sort, in our rooms. This caused stress later when my elderly Aunt had to take her medication. 7. We weren't allowed to consume food or beverages in any of the loungrooms, and the dining area was off limits. 8. She had no alternative table and chairs for us to down, so we had to go and eat outside, in her yard, on this dirty decrepit bench...which by the way...was 5 metres from her pet cemetery. 9. Everywhere we were, in either the kitchen or lounge room, she was there giving directions and speaking extremely rudely. 10. It was obvious we were not welcome. 11. The shower is barely a trickle of water, and no hot water. 12. She packed up our coffee and tea goods, and had them outside. And lucky 13. PAMELA HERSELF ADMITTED SHE WAS RUDE, but, instead of apologising, she stated that her husband had just recently passed away. We felt sorry for her, until we looked at other negative reviews, from 3 years ago, where she gives the same excuse. I do not recommend Pamela's Retreat. It is more a nightmare. My elderly Aunt, her daughter, and myself, have never felt so unwelcome and offended in our lives. Oh! And did I say...Never Ever Again? I welcome Pamela to reply to my review, because after what my family and myself experienced, I am more than ready to discuss this with her.
