Review about Epica Projects Pty Ltd, Sans Souci
4 years ago
"This company are a complete rip off, do not use them at all. Epic Projects were tasked with designing two bathroom vanities and a built in Linen Cupboard in one of the bathrooms. 1. He designed 1200mm wide drawers that where the subject of discussions, once installed because they twist when shutting on a Soft close catch drawer runner system. 2. The maximum size for a drawer is 900mm i now find out after trusting his professional knowledge within the design. Something i have never dealt with before 3. The front panels of the Vanities have blown and the drawer bases where they meet the fronts. 4. He has not used Moisture Resistant MDF Laminated board known as HMR MDF which is mandatory for all wet areas and kitchens and laundries 5. I offered him a deal to get out this NCAT matter which was to cause us as little disruption and to save him a lot of money but he turned it down. 6. This Guy has no retained knowledge he holds a Carpenters Licence not a Joinery licence and Carpenters licence and trades as EPICA PROJECTS without a company licence which is illegal. He walked off he job in January 2021, when i questioned him about general issues and an NCAT application got him back almost immediately although he demanded payment in full prior to his return. 7. He is in NCAT again by me. 8. Check your cabinetry and make sure it is High Moisture Resistant 'HMR' MDF because mine sure is not. 9. He is a weazel and wanders around with a cap on his head like a skateboarder, no stereotyping meant, and i fully intend to make sure that he pays me back veery cent. 10. So, He has no company licence, employs foreign illegals as i found out, no HBCF eligibility for Builders Insurance, breaches Fair Trading and the Home Building Act NSW 1989 Section 7 Contracts and is a complete BS artist. 11. He must have been a Woolies shelf stacker before he started his own business, because he knows nothing about running one and supplying the correct materials for the cabinetry he provides. 12. Just recently he paid a drug affected installer 2k to help him out until the end of the week and to complete a job he was installing, the installer was never seen again and perhaps thats because the installer was not a druggie, but aware of the scams this guy is pulling with regards to materials and organisational skills. Employ this company at your own risk, they are most certainly on going to be in business for long. Two reviews in a year, the other a simple set up by a friend as a favour for Epica Projects, this company isn't worth any stars"
