BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM EXTREME PETS LIVERPOOL- K & N GROUP (AUST) PTY LTD We recently purchased a snake from the EXTREME PET Store at Liverpool only to find out a few days later it's a different snake then what we were sold it as. We have had snake experts verify this. We made contact with the store , and after almost 1 hour of waiting outside the store to speak with the manager , they then refused to take the snake back and refund our money even after we tried to make it clear that we have evidence. We have been treated disgustingly by the manager of the store and the owners. We have tried to explain to them that our son who has autism and many medical issues had saved up for many months out of his own pocket money to purchase our first family reptile , he has been left distraught and now also left with a snake that is not the one we were told we were buying . He has spent his entire savings of $550 for a snake which we have now been advised by snake experts and breeders to be lucky to be worth $200. The matter is now being handed over to Fair Trading and we are willing to go to court if need be. Our son may not have much of a voice but we will fight for him as a family. This is so wrong that they can do this to someone and think they can just walk away from the problem, we have been left devastated by this and all we want is for our son to get his money back . After reading many reviews from different sources we have found many others who have also had very bad experiences with this store. Please do your homework first and DO NOT purchase from this store. We are also looking at starting a class action for this company with previous customers who they have done this sort of thing to also. Our son has not stopped crying and cannot understand why they have done this. When we explained to the manager of the store about his autism and how upset he is over all of this they seemed to find it amusing and this is from what is advertised as a family owned and run store. Please be very careful when dealing with this business and purchasing any animal from them. We would not have even given 1 star only it is required to post this review .
