DO NOT DO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY - THEY DO NOT PAY! Friend worked Simon on the 5th of June 2014. Simon had been calling around all the removalist companies in Melbourne to get help as he was short men for the job. My friend said 'sure', decided to help Simon even though it was his day off. I drove him to the address and he did the work. I pick him up after the work, he tells me Simon said he'd pay him via bank transfer - didn't happen. Friend calls him in a few days .'Oh sorry mate, going to pay you and few others before I go overseas today'. Didn't happen. On the 19th June 2014 I ring to speak to Simon on my friends behalf and ask what is going on. A woman answers the phone, sounds all happy until I mention why I'm calling, then I get the snarky 'I'm just doing Simon a favour. I don't want to take these calls. It's nothing to do with me. I'll have to get his mother to call you back. What's your details?' I text through the details - bank details, day of job, address & the amount agreed to - The woman (Nicole?) said to call her back in a few days and she'd have the mothers information etc for me. I rang back on the 25th of June 2014, and again this woman answered and then tiraded at me how she 'didn't want these phone calls, it wasn't her problem, she wasn't going to deal with it'. This went on for over 30 seconds after she found out who I was. I stayed calm and then asked her if she had Simons mothers number. She gave it to me and I tried to ring it. I left a message and NO-ONE RETURNED MY CALL. It has been 3 months and no payment. 3 months and no call back. THEY DO NOT PAY FOR AN HONEST DAYS WORK. SIMON IS DISHONEST. ALL OF THE PEOPLE AT CAPE BYRON REMOVALS AND STORAGE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND YOU USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS WHO NEVER PAY! I hope your name is blackballed by every Melbourne and country wide removalist company.
