It gives me great pleasure to write a glowing review on Strata Sense, our Strata Manager since March 2021. In my capacity as the Chair of the Owners Corporation of Waratah Apartment, located at 71 Victoria St Potts Point, I had the pleasure of dealing with Strata Sense from the outset (during a highly competitive RFT) and now on the ongoing basis. Waratah is a large strata comprising of 168 lots. It has been self-managed up until the appointment of Strata Sense by an active skill-based Strata Committee, which continues to oversee many and complex projects in our building. Appointment of Strata Sense and, specifically, Daniel , its Head of Strata Management, made an enormous difference to the day-to-day running of our affairs. Daniel and the broader team at Strata Sense are ultimate professionals. Daniel is a lawyer by education. His breadths and depth of strata law knowledge is extraordinary, and the efficiency with which he attends to our requests and queries is second to none. Daniel’s ability to deal with complex and controversial matters politely, but with authority are admirable. I note that you may come across two scathing reviews of Strata Sense by two owners from Waratah. These review are unfair, vindictive and are not in the slightest representative of the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we receive about Strata Sense from owners. These two individuals have a history of engaging in excessive and harmful communications with both the Committee (and now the Strata Manager) over many years and across many Committees, and they never find any support amongst our residents and owners. Daniel, Sam and Fiona ran our recent AGM over zoom. The meeting was ran to perfection, in a calm and professional matter in spite of the disruptions caused by the same two owners. The electronic voting was extremely efficient, and all the meeting outcomes were achieved. I would have no hesitation recommending Strata Sense and Daniel Holt as the preferred strata managers.
