Very poor. Do not use. If it's cheap there's usually a reason. Worst customer service ever. The person who answers the phone doesn't even announce the name of the business and has very little knowledge of the company. They are extremely inflexible in their installation times - will only do Mon - Thurs before 5pm. I booked installation of a front security door for ‘after 4.30pm’, because they would not take a booking after 5pm. I confirmed the booking twice then jumped through hoops to leave work early to get home in time. Custom Screens did not turn up. When I called them at 6pm to ask what time I could expect them they told me they had made a mistake and hadn’t recorded the booking. This was after two phone calls to confirm the booking. I had spoken to the same person each time I called but this person seemed not to remember any of our recent conversations or my order or booking. I requested that they come out anyway that evening to install the security door for several reasons - it was their error, I would have trouble getting home before 5pm again, and I was worried about not having a security door as I had removed my existing one in preparation for them actually turning up and installing my new one when they said they would. They refused to come out that evening and when I asked why they said they were 'all booked up', even though they had originally told me they wouldn't book installations after 4.30pm. I insisted that they come out late after their other installations, but they refused and wouldn’t give me a reason for their refusal. This is a company that is based in a neighbouring suburb less than a five minute drive from my home. I chose to use this business because they had a competitive price and I also like to support local businesses. If Custom Screens were serious about customer service they would make the effort to do a simple installation in a neighbouring suburb after hours when they had made the mistake. I am very disappointed with their extremely poor service and unwillingness to rectify their errors. I cannot recommend this business.
