Jetta was commissioned to get my antique French furniture through Customs in Melbourne and then drive it up to my home in Canberra. The pallet got through Customs okay, but between that and getting to my home, the pallet had been dropped and most of my furniture severely damaged, broken, scraped, etc. All I requested was that Jetta pay repair costs, and yet they refuse to do so. This is the most unethical, unprofessional and dodgy company I have ever dealt with.

I think people need to know of my experience with J. J. was the agent commissioned to get my furniture (from overseas) through customs in Melbourne and then bring it up to my home in canberra. After it was cleared by Customs it took three weeks to get to me. When it was taken off the truck, half of the furniture was not even wrapped. Antiques that were 100 years old were broken, snapped and badly scraped. I am being reasonable. I am not asking for replacement furniture, just that the broken pieces etc be repaired. But J. has avoided me the whole time. The other company involved has promised to pay half the repair costs but have told me that J. will not return their phone calls. I cannot believe that a company can be so unethical and greedy. J. refuses to make an insurance claim; I do not know why. And they refuse to pay half the repair costs. Thumbs down to J. People please be aware before you think about using this company.
