We were engaged with 1/2 a days notice to remove over 40+ tonne of excavated material for them. That first warning sign should have been enough for us to think that whom ever their usual contractor was must have refused to do anymore work for them. Even after the pool hole had been excavated. We spent over 10 hours ensuring that all the soil was removed so that the crane could come the next day. This we completed and then when it has come to pay their bill the are questioning the $395 for dump fees and our time. They have been so unprofessional to deal with and have clearly underpriced their work to win a job that they are now trying to rip off other contractors they engage to complete their work. One of the owners Sue Constable gave a poor review for us trying to manipulate us to reducing our bill and/or get out of paying. So I guess it's only fair that I return favour and pre-warn anyone looking to use these guys to stay well clear of them. If they treat their contractors poorly I'd hate to see how they treat their customers should there ever be a problem.
