Over many years Tamworth Rotary Club during the Christmas period and Country Music has been provided excellent service by Kays and we have continued to use them as butchers. Last Tuesday we had ordered meat for the Rotary dinner and bbq. It was not ready when we came to collect at 2pm. Cost had risen unexpectedly from $80 for the first week to $180 last Tuesday for the same meat. The meat this week was tough and certainly not up to the same standard of the ribeye which I had ordered. When I inquired about the price on Tuesday I was told it was on special last week. There are 30 local members in our Rotary Club who have always supported Kays and were quite disappointed also last week. Think this is a rip off and certainly not good enough for a local firm catering to local people. We will be going elsewhere next week for our meat.
