We have never come across a business with such poor communication. We were having a pool installed this week after waiting since February. After several delays due to the weather (understandable) the last delay only came to light two weeks ago when we followed up with refreshing because we hadn’t heard anything from them. We were supposed to have someone on site this week to start the installation for a pool being delivered yesterday. Not a single phone call or communication letting us know they weren’t going to be doing it this week leaving our concreter, tiler and fencing trade’s inconvenienced yet again. The pool shell would have been sitting on our front yard for who knows how long. We were given the installers number by refreshing and told by the owner Derek to call him direct. After speaking to the installer who didn’t have details of our job and couldn’t confirm any start date we were understandably very upset and frustrated, we then phoned Derek the owner back only to be hung up on twice and told to “put your manners back in”. After speaking to several other pool companies and understanding the process better we are lucky this installation didn’t go ahead. The lack of communication, rudeness and the fact that no contracts were ever provided led to us canceling and engaging a reputable company.
