Vibe the village of the damned. I did my due diligence, read the village policy on how we would be kept safe and have peaceful enjoyment. Nothing could be further from the truth. Management doesn't follow policy even in serious cases of physical threats towards me, stalking and intimidation. The predator breached major codes repeatedly and they won't evict in case he becomes homeless. No care for the women living in fear. Management then bullies you by ignoring you, trivializing your experiences and suggesting 'you' leave. I have a safety issue here identified over a month ago, part of the bullying is they won't do anything to make it safe, the WA Operations manager ironically still says, they are committed to health and safety. It is a visitor carpark so close to my home, I can't get out if a car is in it and emergency services in. I live in onebedroom unit with one door, now shes telling me it's not my main entrance! I tried placing a childs toy ride on in the visitor park to keep it clear. She sent men to take it and 'hide' it from me. I got it back and put it in my garden, she emailed to remove it or she would have it picked up and destroyed! All this time spent bullying but none on the hazard. Although I know you don't normally put items in common areas, I am forced to try and protect my safety as they absolutely, won't. Owners of huge motorhomes and caravans are however, and just for convenience, parking outside their homes, blocking the road for up to two days and their vehicles are not removed and hidden. Since trying to get NLV/Serenitas to adhere to it's own policies and my contract, I have been a victim of senior abuse, talked down to as if I'm feeble minded or ignored, age and gender discrimination (Males can threaten, breach & abuse women here with little or no consequence). Poor reviews lower property values, I know this, however being sold a lie and being forced to live, hiding in my home, unable to use the facilities as the predator roams free, is something I don't want anybody else to suffer through when believing they bought a holiday lifestyle with peaceful enjoyment and their safety protected by a policy that means nothing at all to management unless it suits them or they want to use it against you. There is another male resident who made innappropriate sexual advances to several frightened senior women, he's still here too. Abusive Men are empowered by managements lack of following policy. Recently a 60yr male bailed up and screamed abuse at an 83 and 87yr old on her own property. Ones sons emailed complaints and nothing was done, just told if it happens again, call the police. We have a grievance policy however management avoid using it and fob you off. Take a really good look if you're considering this place. The buggy tour doesn't show the rundown golf range and other facilities, or how often the security gates and cameras don't work, or the spate of burglaries where thieves entered residents homes as they slept. Lastly talk to residents not salepeople for the reality
