BEWARE My opinion is - Do not use this painter. If you don't want unprofessional, patchy work then don't use this painter. Nothing but hassles. Gave me a quote over the phone as it was too hard for him to go out and have a look at my property - I should have known from this not to use him - but he seemed legit - website, trade licence, insurance etc . Anyways, I had to get him back 4 times to try to complete the job, upon which he got paint on brand new window blinds, new light fittings and a mirror. They broke a door handle which I had to replace myself and had to get them back in to put the other door handles on that they had removed to do the painting as they had decided not to put them back on. Very poor cutting in and very patchy finish. My real estate agent and my tenants also mentioned how bad the finish was. To this day still has not finished the job. He then threatened to take me to court as I refused to pay him until the job was finished despite me asking for an invoice and his bank account details - which he never provided - wanted cash in hand. I had to turn up to a construction site to pay him the deposit with cash after refusing to give his bank details. Used a relative, either sister or cousin, from a firm in Bankstown who was a 2-3 year Grad solicitor to threaten me. [Retracted name] and he does not even do the work himself. Even though he has licence and insurance I assume he subcontracts out little jobs like mine but I could be wrong about that. I have ended up having to fix his dodgy work myself - looks like one coat was used in many places. Gave my tenants absolute hell in trying to get access as the people he sent out to do the job could not speak any English. All he was concerned with was getting his money, not about providing a professional service. I'm still waiting on his so called 7 year warranty and certificate of guarantee he promised me. I asked him numerous times for a tax invoice. My experience with this guy is lies, intimidation, manipulation and is very dodgy in the way he conducts business. The company use to be called SK Paintings and Furnishings. This is my experience so I repeat - BEWARE I recommend NOT to use this company.
