I am sharing my disgraceful experience with dealing with Statewide Drive Shaft after purchasing a reconditioned power steering pump for my nissan with a 12 month warranty. It was sold to me and states on the invoice that a 12 month warranty applies with unlimited KM warranty. I made contact to them only 9 months after the power steering pump was fitted to my car because the seals and the power steering pump had a larger leak coming from the pulley. I spoke with the owner asking him about the warranty of the refurbished pump and that my car is not able to be driven due to the fluid exploding under my bonnet. He had no care factor at all and said that there is no warranty on the part and that he could repair it for a small charge. I mentioned that your receipt states that you have a 12 month warranty on your parts. I stated that the purchased so called "refurbished pump" is in worse condition then my old pump and why would I buy something that does NOT even last a year. He continued to make excuses why it is not covered under warranty. From my experience I would be looking elsewhere as this will now be a legal issue and I will be taking civil action against this company. This company advertises and practices misleading and deceptive conduct and I will be seeking compensatory orders!
