My wife purchased a watch for a wedding anniversary present and less than 7 days later I went to return it as it was not what I wanted, nor did I want to purchase anything else at that time (or in the near future). They would only offer an exchange. I understand that this is their general policy, but there were some good reasons for not wanting to keep the watch. However, even after checking with their area manager they confirmed that they would stick with their policy and not offer a refund. Their inflexibility and unwillingness to satisfy an unhappy customer is unfortunate. I let them know that I will never purchase anything from their store again. I hope they enjoy the benefit from my wife's single purchase, but I doubt that it will outweigh what we may have purchased from them in the future, nor will it overcome the negative reviews I will leave for them whereever possible, nor the bad word of mouth I will give them amongst our friends. But this is their choice. Very short sighted outlook. So be wary if you are not entirely certain about your purchase as their return policies and ability to deal with an unhappy customer leave a lot to be desired.
