I went to Salon express in Carousel today. I've been to their other salons a couple of times before and had positive experiences but this time the hairdresser was extremely rude, didn't even say hello as I waked in. I said hello to him as I sat down and attempted to make small talk but it was like talking to a brick wall. I asked him for a trim, and since my hair was already layered, I asked him to work with the style that was already there. After he finished I could barely tell that he'd layered it and I asked him to shape the area around my face. He did one side which looked great, but then in the other dude with a single diagonal cut he chopped off way too much hair, leaving me with an unwanted side fringe that now keeps getting in my eyes. The boss did offer to fix it for me, so props for attempting to remedy the situation but at the end if the day it's hard to fix hair that's too short so now I'll just have to wait until it grows back, Overall, pretty unhappy. Having said that, the girl who was next to me seemed very friendly and I kind of wish she had been my hairdresser instead of Steven. Probably won't ever go there again, and definitely never with that hairdresser.
