Yagoona West Post Office has made our life harder in an already devastating situation. My husband had a stroke and still in Bankstown rehab at the moment. I am also caring my elderly parents at Eastwood a few days a week. To help my husband's stay in the hospital more comfortable we have ordered a few items online for him. We live at the Hume Highway end of Little Road in Yagoona, and are actually closer to Yagoona Post office. Since I don't drive, if a parcel is taken to Yagoona West, I have to get a taxi to be able to get there. With my husband in hospital, we have lost a major source of income. I am also managing the family business by myself and rushing between office, hospital, my parents and home all the time. It is hard to find time at all. It happened a few times before when the parcel was sent to Yagoona West, we tried to organize a transfer to Yagoona Post office, after 3-4 tries it was never successful, then the items would be sent back to the sender. In the recent delivery we even answered Yes to a text message to allow the postman to leave the item at our door (it is very secure at our front verandah), but the item was taken to Yagoona West Post Office again. Life is really hard at moment. Most times I feel that I was pushed under water and can't breath. If anyone who had to experience life tragedies like this you probably would understand. At the moment I feel that I am under so much weight in life, this could be the last thing that push me deep under water and I won't be able to come up again .........
