Kirami is made up of six wings with a total of 97 beds. Each wing has its own lounge, dining room and kitchen. Two wings are designed for residents with dementia to live comfortably and securely. The large central communal area features coordinated weekly concerts and music sessions, regular craft sessions, bingo and board games, all of which you are encouraged to join in, but there's no pressure. You can be as private or as outgoing as you wish. A variety of health professionals regularly visit Kirami, including a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dentist, audiologist, speech therapist and dietician. A hairdresser is onsite weekly and available by appointment. Maintaining the leisure and lifestyle interests of residents is all part of the program. We take a collaborative approach, inviting feedback and discussions on what types of activities you prefer.
