The permanent site at Paskeville was established in 1975. Eight local branches of the form the organising body and their members are totally responsible for the management and organisation of this prestigious three-day event. These Bureaux are: Arthurton, Boors Plains, Bute, Culiffe, Moonta, Paskeville, Petersville and South Hummocks. With a history spanning over 113 years this biennial event is now a multi-million dollar showcase of the latest innovations in agricultural machinery, products, rural services and technology and is acclaimed as one of Australias major agricultural Field Days. The Yorke Peninsula Field Days attracts up to 50, 000 visitors during the three-day event.
The Yorke Peninsula Field Days Incorporated event received positive feedback from customers for its great sites at pavilions, excellent experience for networking, first-time attendance with a look forward to returning, and well-organized and professionally conducted nature.
