Our Centre is licensed by Department of Community Services to provide a high quality educational program for up to 80 children a day who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Programs Our programs are based on the children’s interests and are planned to support and further develop their skills. Some of the projects the children have been involved in include learning about Dinosaurs, Insects, and Sea Creatures just to name a few. The children are often practicing to become hairdressers, doctors, nurses, chefs and even wedding planners. Throughout all these activities our children are learning many skills including how to mix with others, how to work together, solve problems and conflicts, build confidence and self-esteem and develop independence. Our children’s numeracy, language and literacy skills are also developed through these activities as well as puzzles, games, stories and music, which is a very important part of our program. Parent Involvement Parents are a very important part of our community and we love to have their input. We have a number of special days where parents can be part of our centre for the day. These include Mother’s and Father’s day morning teas, open days and Christmas parties. We welcome parents any time to be part of our day. Our staff are friendly, approachable and experienced, each having childcare qualifications ranging from Certificate III, Diplomas and University Degrees. Many of our staff are parents themselves. Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment from the Australian Government that helps you with the cost of your child care. Our centre Provider Number is 407 108 225T.
