The site was purchased by Marcus Douglas and his father Mort and together they have transformed it into a new and exciting development that makes Trevallyn a destination.. a passion for fresh food prepared simply, complemented by a great glass of wine Marcus worked full time on the project. Stage one was the redevelopment of the shops at the rear of the site. Stage 2 was the major undertaking which has seen the front facade rebuilt and now houses the new look Trevallyn Grocer & delicatessen and adjoining Cafe Culture. Having designed and set up first the Trevallyn delicatessen and then Cafe Culture, Marcus has recently leased the Cafe and integrated the delicatessen into the grocer which is now the focal point for he and partner Jo. Both Marcus and Jo are amateur foodies; no chef background here! but both share a passion for fresh food prepared simply, complemented by a great glass of wine. They both enjoy trading recipes and ideas with customers and have great fun sourcing new products for the store.
