The Goulburn Challenge Foundation INC provides temporary residential care for children with disabilities at the Crescent Lodge. A maximum of six children can be accommodated at any one time, the aim being to provide as normal a home environment as possible. It is not intended to provide permanent care. The Challenge Foundation also has a group home which is a service for young adults. It is a residential group home for up to four young adults with disabilities and is located in Dalley St, Goulburn. This facility has been operating since 1999 funded by the State Government. We are now eligible to take disabled children from the main stream in the Southern Highlands including Yass, Crookwell, Taralga, Braidwood, Goulburn and surrounding areas.
