Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Forbes is located in a convenient residential area, close to schools, shops and facilities. Our centre prides itself on offering a nurturing, stimulating learning environment where children feel safe and secure – from their time in the Nursery right through to Kindergarten / Preschool. Our qualified early learning educators support children’s learning and development, using a play based program in line with the Early Years’ Learning Framework, to provide quality learning experiences. We believe working with families is important to ensure these outcomes are being met. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment with two main areas, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have sandpits, manmade and natural surrounds, a sensory garden, bike paths and lots of shade. We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
