The business was started in 1969 by husband & wife Philip & Nolene Hawks with Noelenes brother Jack & his wife Sue Lake. The business has operated at the same address since its opening. The business has grown from small tin side in 1969 with an ash floor which was purchased from the local quarry to the current size it is today. Over the years it has had 3 major renovations in years between 1969 & 1999. For many years the company owned & operated a fleet tow trucks, the last of the trucks ended in 1995.
