Established in 1914, Minnis and Samson Pty Ltd has a long tradition of fine metal craftsmanship. This tradition is supported by highly skilled tradesmen who take pride in their work. Today at Minnis and Samson we continue the tradition of high quality metal fabrication in steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Our experienced team are able to take design concepts on paper and convert them into reality. This process often involves a combination of problem solving, material selection and expert craftsmanship. Company History Established in 1914, Minnis and Samson Pty Ltd has a long tradition of fine metal craftsmanship. A long tradition supported by skilled craftsmen, many who have served over thirty years and one who in fact joined the company as a boy and retired 50 years later. With this level of commitment comes a great deal of pride in the work completed - it is not a job but a passion. The combination of this experience and the use of modern machinery results in products of very high quality. In the early years the company produced chrome bumper bars for the Ford and Holden motor companies. It also had its own brand of metal furniture called Samsoncraft. Occasionally some of these early pieces of furniture resurface for repairs - after 30 years of service! Minnis and Samson became well known for creating Ecclesiastical furniture including elaborate candle holders, and one off furniture pieces. These skills are still employed today in the creation of one off furniture pieces and architectural art pieces.
