Warrah provides individualised disability services based on the principles of Curative Education and Social Therapy developed by Rudolf Steiner. Central to Warrah's philosophy is adherence to ideals of mutual respect and service, and responsiveness to the changing needs of each individual. Clients' individual programs are developed in consultation with the clients, their families or advocates, appropriate medical and other professionals, and Warrah staff. We encourage the formation of friendships rather than having people simply sharing a house under the supervision of a carer. Warrah's mission is to provide individual support for people with an intellectual disability based on their aspirations and support needs according to the principles of Dr Rudolf Steiner and the legislative requirements of the New South Wales Disability Services Act (1993).
