Stephen Chandler, owner of Perth Splashbacks originally came from a carpenter/cabinet maker family in an old roman city called Bath within the UK, trained up by his Uncle who was a carpenter. His granddad was also a carpenter / cabinet maker believe it or not but whos family name was Wood. Once I completed my apprenticeship I went out on my own at an early age within the kitchen cabinetry and window trade installing kitchens / cabinets and windows, which led me to a company called Abbey Glass who, took me on as a glass & glazier apprentice, which i learnt in no time and soon became fully qualified at the age of 20. We renovated historic church windows from the metal / timber framing, stained glass windows to lead work all within beautiful old churches and famous Abbeys and old Roman Architecture within the UK From there Stephen went into double glazing, again working alongside his Uncle until he sub contracted on his own. Offering a complete range of renovation services which involved all trades including carpentry, cabinet making, glazing, double Glazing, plastering, bricklaying, roofing and flooring. Until eventually client's were looking for something a little different within their kitchens, and the idea of coloured glass splashbacks was born and Perth Splashbacks started operating.
