We employ enthusiastic, qualified staff to provide: Physiotherapy Exercise Physiology Dry needling Massage Workplace Assessments Chronic Pain Management Hydrotherapy Fitness Testing Exercise classes NorthHab Physio & Fitness was established in Weipa in 1997. The company was founded by Chris and Jenny North initially to help reduce workplace injuries on behalf of Comalco at their Weipa minesite. Chris also provided a service for Queensland Health in Weipa and the surrounding communities in Cape York. The remoteness of the service provided many challenges and helped define the NorthHab Physio & Fitness philosophy of ‘Helping People to Help Themselves'. In 2004 NorthHab Physio & Fitness expanded to Crestmead, Logan City, bringing with us our unique approach to injury management. We call them the 3 Golden Rules: The management will incorporate a ‘hands on' approach. The client will be given some strategies to implement at home assisting self management We specialise in project work assisting organisations to more effectively manage musculoskeletal injuries within the workplace. NorthHab currently support a number of corporate companies, such as Endeavour Disability Services, SnapFresh, Kambu Medical Service, Greater Metro South Brisbane Medicare Local (GMSBML) and the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH).
