Casey Medical Centre is a health care provider situated in Cranbourne in a modern purpose built building. Cranbourne is situated on the outskirts of Melbourne, 40 minutes from the city via the Freeway. Currently we have 13 doctors, an 8 bed treatment room with full time nursing staff and an audiology room. A chemist occupies part of the building, whilst pathology, radiology, and a specialist centre are located nearby to the practice. We have achieved the highest level of standard which is expected in general practice and assessed by the College of General Practitioners (AGPAL accredited). Mission Statement Casey Medical Centre serves Cranbourne and surrounding communities, by providing comprehensive healthcare with the aim of improving and maintaining the quality of life for all individuals and families. We are dedicated to excellence and aim to provide each individual with the most appropriate care. Our History This is a brief history of Casey Medical Centre (formerly known as High Street Medical Centre). The practice was established in December 1978 by Dr Sam Auteri. From small beginnings in a converted six-square garage, the practice rapidly grew into a large busy one. In 1980 a new thirty square practice was built offering emergency and day theatre facilities. Four years later the building was more than doubled with facilities for six doctors. On the 9th March 1999 our new state-of-the-art medical centre opened its doors for business. The official opening, attended by The Mayor of Cranbourne was on Friday May 21st 1999. We then held an open day on Saturday 22nd May 1999 to introduce our new building to the people of Cranbourne and surrounding areas.
Casey Medical Centre receives praise for its compassionate and caring doctors, including Dr Kim Teo, Dr Morrison, Dr Brett Ogilvie, Dr Sugu, and Dr Anki Fonseka. Patients appreciate the thorough consultations and friendly staff. Some have been loyal clients for decades, despite moving away from the area. However, negative experiences include long wait times, rude reception staff, and incorrect billing. One patient was displeased with the care provided by Sharlene Tan.
