AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Every 5 years I have my asbestos roof inspected for damage/repairs/maintenance etc. These inspections are conducted by professionals in the asbestos field. They are required for any possible future insurance claim. In November 2021, Zen Roofing attended my property to inspect my asbestos roof for any damage/maintenance/repairs etc. I was informed that a detailed written report would be generated and supplied to me within a week. On the day of the inspection, I was informed that the roof was in good condition (considering its age), that no major storm damage was visible, and that no work was required. Approx. 14 days after the inspection date, I contacted Zen Roofing and enquired as to when the report would be received. I was told that they were very busy, and that the report would be delayed and hopefully provided within the next month or two. 2 months later SEQ was hit by severe storms that damaged my roof, to the point that there was rain water pooling in the ceiling cavity. Due to Zen Roofing NOT providing the promised report, my insurance company is now refusing to replace the roof, as they can't determine when the storm damage occurred. And without the report from Zen Roofing detailing the condition of the roof at the time of inspection, I’m left without a leg to stand on. I've contacted Zen Roofing in an effort to obtain a copy of the report, only to be told that Glen doesn't do reports anymore. I don't care if you don't do reports any more, I need a copy of the report that you were supposed to have done back in November 2021!!!!!!!!! You neglected your responsibility to provide me with a written report, which is now needed for an insurance claim. Thanks to the incompetence of Zen Roofing, instead of having to pay an insurance excess of $600 to replace my roof, I'm now looking at a bill of $25k+. Thanks Zen Roofing. I'll be sure to never recommend your services to anyone I know that requires any kind of roofing inspections and/or work. If I could have rated your company a ‘Zero Star’ rating, I would have.
