Kon fails to listen to his patients' needs. I needed glasses for computer use only. Being the first time I'd needed or purchased glasses, I followed his recommendations. Having wasted money at Kon's, I learned that there are specific lens types for viewing computers with anti-reflection and also that diagnosis may differ when diagnosing for computer use as apposed to everyday use for glass magnification. Further to this, when asked about anti-reflection lenses, Kon was dismissive and rude when dealing with questions.

Established in 1986, Kon Penklis Optometry is a family run business that has been practising for over 30 years.
Specialising in comprehensive eye examinations and using the latest equipment and technology, we cater to all age groups from infants to seniors. Our philosophy is that patient care comes first, it is our priority to ensure that you are personally catered to. Every eye exam screens for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes and other ocular diseases which may have visual and systemic implications. Our digital photography, digital retinal scans and computerised visual field analysis allow for immediate and in house investigation.
As well as our comprehensive examinations we also provide referral to and co-manage patient with ophthalmologists and your GP to provide a thorough and seamless Pre and Post-operative care plan. Annual eye examinations are encouraged for the early detection of potential vision threatening issues.
