Simon Clark graduated from QUT’s School of Optometry in 1991. His early career was forged working throughout Australia as an optometrist on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne. He gained experience working in a variety of practices ranging from small, independent practices to some of the larger corporate stores in the country. In 2000 Simon returned to Brisbane. It was a desire to offer a personalised service that inspired Simon to start his own practice. Simon had witnessed neglect for this aspect of eye-care with the emergence of large retail outlets. He opened Simon Clark Optometrist in Stones Corner in September 2001. The practice focuses on providing the best eye-care for each client’s needs. Simon meets the compulsory continuing education requirements of the Australian Optometrist Association, which he has been a member of since 1991.
