Travelled from Brisbane to Kilcoy for a pub lunch.Decided to walk across the road to get some meat for dinner.Ordered some y-bone steak to take back to Brisbane.Im a chef and I know how to cook a perfect steak.Being y-bone i always cut the eye so the steak stays flat in the fry pan.Seared and sealed for 3 minutes each side and taken off to rest for 10 rare to medium rare.Steaks were so tough even rare went into the bin.Had a better steak across the road at the Exchange hotel.Never again.Try the other butchers.
