ERW Engineering Pty. Ltd. has extended the Disc Spring product range by taking on Grid Shaped Surface Washers and Grid shaped Spring Washers. The Grid Shaped Surface Washers are presently the best safety device against loosening of nuts and screws through vibration. The grids, which are engraved into the washer, are Z shaped and have the ability to lock in both directions. The conic or Belleville shape of the washer provides additional security when fastened. Other methods just achieve part of the security of the Grid Shaped Surface Washer. Tests have been made on several occasions with always excellent results.
