Childers Tourist Park & Camp

All in all I love Australia and the people but this place and especially S. was the worst Person I have ever met in my entire live. This place...I don't even know where to start was utterly bad. At first you pay about $90 per week for an unpowered campsite and S. promises to find you a job. You also have to pay an $80 deposit which almost nobody got back. For the money you get an open kitchen with two fridges and one stove which you share sometimes with 50 people. Which means you will have trouble getting all your groceries cooled in the fridge and finding a stove to cook at. S. is all about getting all your and all the other people’s money. For example there was one guy camping there who ate people’s food, was drunk every day, started fights with everybody and was just a pain. When we told her, she wouldn't do anything about it because he was a "valuable" customer. Also she talks s*** about you behind your (and everybody else’s) back. After we finished working for we had a little celebration and the next morning she told us we were too loud so we would not get our deposit back. After a lot of arguing we got half of it back. On the bright side there are some good points about the park. First the cleaning lady is really nice.(she hates her job and S.) and the park is really nice in the nature and sometimes you see kangaroos right in front of your tent. And because of the bad service and S. all the people camping will have a strong community feeling because literally everybody had trouble with her. I will always remember this place for the nice backpackers I met and the most horrible person on earth.
