Childers Central Caravan Park

If you are looking for farming work, please avoid this place. (Everyone who stays in caravan park is backpacker for farming work.) wages are not good and then your earning money is just for your accommodation and food. Don't expect that you could save up money. I have stayed there for more than 2 weeks. I am the one of the longest residents and it means that most of backpackers start looking for another farm after 1st or 2nd days of work. Wage is paid after 2 weeks and you need to wait for 2 weeks to get first payment. When you decide to leave this caravan park, you need to prepare to call and email them for receiving your payment. Once you leave, without your requests, people will not give your payment. i could receive my wage after a few times of request(sms, phone call and email) I was sick and tired of listening to their ridiculous excuses. It was terrible. I regretted choosing to work and stay there. Anyway, please avoid this place if you look for a farming job.
