Amtech Precision Here at Amtech Precision Engineering we seek to achieve a high quality of product and pursue continual improvement in operations and management systems. Our aim is to ensure that the product we manufacture meets or exceeds relevant industry standards. Our motto is "get it right first time", ensuring safety in production, delivery to agreed schedules, waste reduction and price competition. We have highly skilled, enthusiastic and experienced people with a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry and who we believe are paramount to our success. Amtech Precision Engineering manufactures components to customer specifications using advanced computer aided manufacturing technology. We manufacture components of varying sizes, from microns to metres. We are able to manufacture from a wide variety of engineering materials including aluminium, plastics, stainless steel, ceramics, titanium and copper. We manufacture one-off prototypes through to high volume mass production of components. Quality Control Amtech is a quality assured company and has been certified by the Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) in accordance with Quality Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 since October 1996. History Amtech Precision Engineering commenced operation in 1985 (then as Pro-Parts Pty Ltd) manufacturing components to customers' specifications mainly catering for organisations that undertake research and development. Since then, Amtech has branched out, taking customer products from development to full production. We have also expanded our customer base to include military, mining, photonic and medical industries. In 2007, Amtech relocated into a purpose built facility in the Amtech Industrial Estate in Symonston, Canberra. This new site houses five new Mori Seiki Machines that have been purchased in a rolling program commencing in 2004. (See side tab - Facilities and Equipment)
