ACE Audiology is a privately owned Australian business specialising in hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting for private, Office of Hearing Services and Worksafe clientele. We offer FREE hearing screening tests for anyone over the age of 55 or on a pension and welcome enquiries. We are independent and not owned by any factory outlet, ensuring our advice is objective.
Company description
ACE Audiology is accredited to provide free hearing services to Office of Hearing Services new and return voucher holders. We also provide pre-employment checks, compensation hearing assessment and tinnitus advice/treatment.
We specialise in Paediatric Hearing Assessment from the age of six months using an illuminated puppet reinforcer in sound field to test to minimal levels. We supplement the behavioural test with objective measures inclusive of acoustic reflexes and diagnostic standard Otoacoustic emissions which measure outer hair cell health from birth upwards.
Our electrophysiology facility enables Auditory Brainstem Response Audiometry and Electrocochleagraphy.
Our Audiologist, Yazdaneh Galt, has had over a decades experience in hearing assessment and hearing aid dispensing. Yazdaneh has a special interest in completely- in- the- canal (CIC) hearing aid fittings so small that no one need know you are wearing them. Validation of your fitting is conducted using real life, "live speech mapping" to replicate the everyday listening environments.
Ace Audiology is independent and is free to dispense devices from a broad range of manufacturers inclusive of Bernafon, Phonak, Unitron, Siemens, Starkey, Oticon, Widex and GNReSound amongst others.
