I’d give him no stars if I could. The most unfriendly unhelpful spite filled man. Don’t shop here is my advice

This nursery is being managed by an individual with personal problems so challenging that he cannot offer decent or reasonable service. He assaulted my daughter for grabbing a small cardboard box from their store of boxes for customer use. He told her "One box per customer - the sign says it". This made no sense as she was gathering her first box following our purchase. I piped up that given they cost nothing that his cheapness with the boxes was weird. Behind his counter (he definitely is a coward) he started banging his secateurs on the counter & saying that he didn't give a ...ck. what we thought - as we went to leave we turned to find he'd come out from behind his counter & started spraying my daughter (who was holding her two year old son) with a spray bottle with pink chemical liquid in her face. My daughter noted that he was committing an assault - I asked him why I shouldn't belt him - he said "now you've got him making threats". . I have never experienced a business owner less skilled in customer relations or one with such a disturbed & disaffected personality. If your looking for good stock & decency, shop elsewhere & if he assaults or threatens you don't hesitate to report him to the police.

Iwould give them zero if I could. I spent about $250.00 there. A young skinny fellow was so rude to me when I asked him to help me with some trees to take them to the counter. each tree was around $140.00. He just walked away. I said again politely can you please get that tree before some one else takes it away because that was only tree of that kind there. He turned around and said so rudely "you are not the only customer here". I felt like just turn around and walk out of that stupid shop. I have been going there for decades. I will never ever go there no matter if this is the only nursery in the ACT. yes abnoucious all right. It spoiled my evening. on my way home, I felt no joy of buying new trees at all. All I was thinking to turn around and return these trees for what I was so insulted. His body language and attitude towards customers is not acceptable. If he does not like to serve people he should not be there. I agree with other pople's comment. I did not feel welcomed there. I have to stop going there. thats the only way not to be upset about buying the trees and plants.

Yes the owner of this business and the man you are talking about is unbelievably obnoxious. What I found most irksome was the way I have seen him dress down his staff. That started from the getgo. The previous owner was so lovely.

The 'rude man' looks if he has serious illness and dying soon, not sure why he had to cowardly behave like that towards his customers. The business should close soon by way he operates. I bought some potting mix bags and asked if he or someone can give me a hand to pop them in the boot, he ignored me, I already paid and waited outside a while, I decided to come in and very politely asked one of his staff to give me a hand. This old rude man approached me and called me bullshit and gave me my money back. unbelievable. this kind of people shouldn't be alive as the have no human's values at all.

I recently had the exact same experience and will not be returning to Willow Park Nursery. My husband and I approached an older gentlemen at the counter and asked for some advice about a specific tree we want to plant. The man stood there with a blank expression and after an awkward silence he said very rudely that he isn't just going to talk to us about the tree and that we have to ask him questions. I responded asking if he could follow us to where the trees were because I could see that there were different species and wanted his advice, he again very rudely told me that he knows what the trees look like and that he sees them everyday so he doesn't need to go out and look at them. I was actually in shock with his response. Of course he knows what they are and what they look like - HE BLOODY WORKS THERE and that's why we were asking for his help!!! Go figure?!?! We ended up going down the road to the other nurseries and were greeted with such lovely customer service. Very very disappointed with Willow Park and hence why we will never return.

I have been a long time customer at Willow Park Nursery, but I don't think I will be going there anymore. Their customer service is apauling. I was interested in purchasing a garden ornament and asked one of the older gentlemen at the counter what it cost and some general advice. I was rudely told that he doesn't want to go outside to discuss it with me and in a dismissive tone told me to go read the price off the product myself. I feel that I was belittled in front of other customers. I hope other people have not experienced such treatment.
