Hi Andrew. Wanted to thank you, on behalf of Megan, for finding her “dream” car. She is rapt and I know it wasn’t the easiest of requests to fulfil. Our experience with yourself, Ben and the rest of your team was outstanding, and would be happy to recommend Adrian Brien to anyone. ”Dear Andrew It has been our pleasure to conduct business with your dealership over the last two weeks, culminating in the purchase and pickup of a Hyundai ix35 yesterday. Having driven the vehicle for less than twenty four hours, it is difficult at this stage to assess all the wonderful features we fell in love with. But if the smiles on our faces as we drove around Adelaide yesterday are any indication, we are in for a long and satisfactory future together. Before we reached that stage, however, we had to be guided through the benefits and reasons why we should choose, firstly a new car and secondly, this particular model. And how fortunate we were when Andrea Gehan was our guide. As you would be well aware, there are many disparaging remarks about car sales staff and this is unfair, as we have found staff in other service industries who fail to understand their customer. But in Andrea, we found a gem! Her knowledge of the product was commendable and the confidence she instilled in us to decide on the Hyundai rather than the Toyota Rav4 was a decision which felt guided but not steamrolled. We were able to witness Andrea’s completely professional, yet warm and welcoming approach on three separate occasions and, not only did she respond to our every question, but had that all important ‘finger on the pulse” of the dealership. We were impressed with the ‘referral reward” cards included in the pack should we wish to promote your dealership and can assure you they will not be difficult to pass on, especially when Andrea’s name will accompany each referral. “CONVENIENCE AND THE PRODUCT I WANTED. I HAVE ONLY JUST PURCHASED MY VEHICLE AND HAVE ONLY HAD THE FIRST 1000 KM SERVICE DONE. AT PRESENT I HAVE NOT BEEN DEALING WITH THE COMPANY LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE LIKES OR DISLIKES. TO DATE THE SALES SERVICE I HAVE HAD IS SATISFACTORY. I PURCHASED A HIGHLANDER IX35 AND THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE REAR CARGO LIGHT IS NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH. After having her car serviced last week she ran into a problem this morning & her car stalled, only a minor problem it turned out to be. When she got to work she called Ivan who collected her car, fixed the problem & returned the car to her work. “Service & delivery was great. Promised a full tank of diesel but was just under 1/2 full. Not impressed. Service team were helpful at St Marys as had a problem with anti-locking brake on front passenger side. Guys at service centre Morphett Vale excelled when they did a second check on my wheel problem. To The General Manager Adrian Brien Ford I wish to relate to you my experience in my recent purchase of a demonstrator XR6T at Adrian Brien Ford I came in to look at the vehicle on 17/6/11 and spoke with Daniel Jones about a drive away price. After some mild negotiation we agreed on a suitable price and I told Daniel that I would consid…er purchasing the car after my bank had approved finance Daniel suggested that I speak with your relief business manager on the day Michael about finance options, I reluctantly agreed and showed Michael the deal my bank was offering and that if he could match or beat the offer I would seriously consider it Michael worked out what seemed to me quite a good deal and after talking about different options and considering for a while I agreed on the package offered and the deal was done, The paperwork was signed and completed and later that day I drove away in my new car. Later that evening I sat down and read through the contract thoroughly and found some conditions that I was extremely unhappy about and I honestly thought that I had been taken for a ride, (The conditions were the interest rate and the ability to make extra payments without penalty). After a restless night I managed to get hold of Michael to discuss my concerns, Michael assured me that my concerns were unfounded and that what we agreed upon was true and correct and he would follow up with ST George to confirm the above Michael rang me back later that day and confirmed that the finance was as he said it was and over the phone we discussed the area’s of the contract I was concerned about, It turned out I was wrongly interpreting the wording in the contract and Michael patiently talked me through it all and made further inquiries to double check and called me once again to confirm all was as we discussed I wish to convey to you my appreciation of the care and professionalism that Michael showed to me and I cannot state enough how happy I am with the service he provided. Both Daniel and Michael were very good to deal with and I felt the need to tell you what an excellent team you have working for you, They are both a credit to the company It has been a very positive experience dealing with Adrian Brien Ford and I will have no hesitation in recommending your company to others and dealing with you again in the future. Your follow-up phone calls were appropriate and the time that you took to explain all the features of the vehicle to my wife and I, was appreciated. You're a very personable young man who made the sale because of your friendliness and lack of pressure. Even more impressive was the after sales service you gave when I discovered a small problem with the vehicle. Introducing me to the service and panel shop people who made arrangements to remedy the issue, gave me added confidence in your company. Thanks for doing that. The issue has now been dealt with to my satisfaction and I can get on with enjoying the vehicle. "Hi Andrew I thought I should acquaint you of my experiences with Adrian Brien Ford after purchasing a 2nd hand (2004) Pajero. Having mostly purchased family cars at govt auctions or privately and having heard some of the stories about used car dealers I was wary from the outset when I decided to purchase this Pajero. Within 1 week the LPG system was causing the car to stall so I rang the salesman, half expecting an excuse that LPG was not covered under warranty. Not so, the car was booked in promptly, and a loan car provided. As the gas could not be fixed by your service dept the car was sent out to a gas specialist. And the loan car I expected to be some older trade in but it was a low mileage FG Falcon. A week or so later the 4WD system started to play up, intermittently putting itself into 4WD and the dropping out with a loud clunk. As well low range would not engage and the indicator lights did not appear to be working properly. So I again contacted the sales person who went for a drive with me but of course everything worked perfectly except for the indicator lights. Nevertheless he agreed something was not right and it was booked in again. Another loan car, this time a ute as he knew we needed a wagon to move house. On the morning I was to return the car, after service dept advised the Pajero was ready, the salesman called to say he had driven the car again and it was NOT fixed and would be going to a Mitsubishi dealer for further attention. A few weeks later one of your PR girls called to check if I was happy with the car and service. I told her I thought the front rotors needed machining and was that covered under warranty ?. She immediately put me through to service dept who advised that was not really a warranty item but bring it in and they would skim the rotors – duly done and problem not entirely fixed but definitely much better. The point of this email is to say that I had low expectations of service from a dealer and I was quite wrong. The service all round has been excellent, no excuses or reasons why not but just a let’s fix the problem attitude. The sales person was Joel Mani and his commitment to making sure I was a satisfied customer has been absolutely outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of his attitude and service ethic. I guess you don’t get a lot of emails like this but as a manager involved in marketing and customer service in tourism for the past 40 years I felt you would like to hear of my (very) good and positive experience with your organization. “Recently, 6th April, I visited your used cars lot with a mild interest in an FG XR6, specifically the colour was to be EGO being what my BF XR6 was. One being in the yard, I spent some time looking over it and was approached by a salesperson who got the conversation going in the right direction. I took up the offer for an appraisal to be done on my BF and some numbers were then shuffled around. After about an hour, I said I would go away and think about it, and get back in touch the following day, which I did. I made a counter offer, and it was suggested to return to sort out the fine details. I’m happy to say that everything was finalized to my satisfaction and the paperwork was signed off at that time. The salesperson I dealt with was Aaron Watson and I wish to commend him on his ‘style’, his pleasant personality and most importantly, the simple fact that he did not employ any high pressure sales techniques so common in the trade.
