A travel companion is a person, in our case a vetted member of our security team, who travels with the client in a low threat environment. The Travel Companion's role is a combination of security adviser, P.A., companion and facilitator. They can only perform this role in a low threat environment, as personal security cannot be distracted with other duties when the threat risk is medium, or high. Having your personal security carrying the bags does not aid their ability to protect you.
